5 ways technology has improved education

Significant technological advances have changed the face of education. Although, as I said, the basic principles remain the same, now students are taught differently. Technology has become indispensable in education. Here are some of the ways that technology is affecting education:

1. simplifies access to educational resources: what seemed like an impossible task a few years ago is now in our hands. With the help of skill, we can now access all the information we may need in just a few seconds, and this is a valuable asset, especially when it comes to online learning.

2. Improves learning: Although some may think differently, technology has made education more attractive to children who would not otherwise be interested in it. Using devices is not only rewarding but also fun and makes learning more fun for kids.

3. allows students to learn at their own pace, making them feel less frustrated and more motivated, and more interested in learning what interests them. Not feeling left out or lagging behind your classmates helps students a lot. As a general rule, this feeling of being behind others prevents children from realizing their potential. Fortunately, this is no longer the case, as each student is assessed individually, and they can spend as much time as they need on a particular topic.

4. prepares students for the future: technology enables students to learn subjects even outside the classroom. This helps them better understand the issues they are studying and makes the learning process easier and more accessible. Not only that but learning more things simultaneously allows students to develop skills that will be useful in the future; for example, they can know how they can run their own business. Furthermore, technology itself is an essential life skill.

5. provides many applications: as we discussed, the new teaching situation has significantly improved teaching methods. That is why the new applications have become indispensable for both teachers and students. Flipsnack, Kahoot !, Prezi, and Class Dojo are just a few of the apps that offer students and teachers great opportunities to enhance their overall teaching and learning experience.

Is online education sustainable?

The short answer is yes. BUT! It depends on many factors. We must ensure that all students have equal access to online education. Regardless of how it's done, it still needs to be done.

There are many more children who do not have the resources to connect to their online classes. Whether it's a poor internet connection or a lack of devices, these issues need to be addressed if we want online education to be sustainable.

But if we can address these issues, online learning could be our future. Technology gives us more pedagogy experience and allows us to get instant feedback, which is very helpful. Not to mention the number of resources we now have access to and the fact that we can now attend any school globally without having to leave home-based.

While the social factor is also significant and maybe one of the reasons why online education may be unsustainable, I think that perhaps the combination of online and offline classes is the key to a more successful educational plan.

Conclusion: Skill is without a doubt one of the best belongings. It not only provides ample entertainment chances but is also an irreplaceable assistant at work and study. And if we have learned anything from this pandemic, being connected to the Internet is a blessing.

Being able to connect with family and friends around the world during isolation, work remotely, and get an education are all valuable things we take for granted. I think the pandemic has taught us that it is time to invest more in the proper infrastructure and that it is time to leave the old ways behind. We must take advantage of the state and understand that technology is the way of the future. The change has already begun; we just have to learn to adapt and invest where it matters most: in the education of our children because they are our future.
